My guess is that this is exactly what it looks like. A fake. Look if I am at a military base and I am snapping photos of a UFO owned by the USAF (1) I’m not going to stop at 2 or 3 photos (2) I’m going to take video since most cameras and phones have video now (3) I don’t think I am going to submit my evidence to ThirdPhaseOfMoon (nothing personal). The fact that these photos are “exclusive” also bothers me. There are several magazines, tabloids, or programs that would have paid for the photos had the photographer been able to prove the authenticity of his work. A good look at the originals with some  photo software would probably turn up some layering.
