An Indiana parent and son report watching a “gray amorphous mass” that moved northeast across the southern horizon for about one minute at a high rate of speed at 3:30 a.m. on January 5, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
“It passed behind a group of trees and based on previous viewing of aircraft landing and take offs at a nearby airport, I would place the altitude at between 500 to 1,000 meters,” the reporting witness stated. “The object quickly accelerated and vanished toward the southern horizon.”
The reporting witness described the object.
“The object had no identifiable shape other than blob-like and an empty gray color. It was like looking into a hole that you cannot see the bottom of, but as it moved it did block out the stars behind it.”
